The stencils can be cleaned with paint thinner, or Acetone, which you can buy at any hardware store.Nail polish remover also works for the smaller stencils. To clean the stencils let them soak in Acetone for 30 min or more, then scrub clean and rinse.

The larger steel stencil can also be cleaned with fire. If you happen to have a fire going outdoors, or somewhere well ventilated just toss the stencil in and let the paint burn off. We also happen to like the added purifying aspect to this ritual.

Remember, when using the stencil with spray paint, less is more! You don't need a lot of paint to get a clean spray, and with lighter sprays you will also get a lot more use out of the stencil between cleanings.
